Adoption and integration of a company wide enterprise performance management system (Saba). Key responsibilities included project management, re-engineering business processes and driving end-user adoption through change management.
A significant focus was on User Acceptance Testing. The role also involved configuring and administering Saba 5.4 & 5.5, along with developing and delivering comprehensive end-user training. Expertise was developed in various Saba Modules like Performance Management and Talent Management, alongside competency development to identify training needs and close skill gaps.
Kal Tire
Kal Tire – Vernon BC Canada
Instructional design, development, and delivery of a comprehensive technical training program for a company-wide Point of Sale (POS) system which was implemented across 240 retail stores, targeting 1,500 trainees. This involved acquiring knowledge in the proprietary POS application encompassing the following modules: inventory management, cash management, purchasing, receiving, and sales procedures. We developed a suite of training materials including facilitator guides, training aids, participant activities, assessments, and a program evaluation plan, all aligned with specific learning objectives and outcomes. The project’s success was demonstrated through the execution of pilot training sessions and the subsequent refinement of materials for transition to Kal Tire’s in-house facilitators.
In a concurrent project, VectorIS undertook the redesign and development of Kal Tire’s centralised management training programs, transforming them from a traditional face-to-face format to an innovative hybrid model, incorporating both face-to-face and virtual delivery elements. This project required a strategic approach to ensure seamless integration and effectiveness of the new training format.
